Do you have a great photo of Sunday’s bus parade through Edinburgh by the victorious Hibernian football team and the Scottish Cup?
Congratulations to Hibernian Football Club’s historic Scottish Cup win on Saturday.
To mark this momentous moment I’m looking for a photograph of the bus parade through Edinburgh to create into a piece of art and a limited number of high quality souvenir prints. Unfortunately I was working in North Berwick on Sunday and so missed the celebrations.
If picked you win an original sketch of your photo.
I will use your photograph as inspiration to create a sketch which I will then sell as a souvenir print. In exchange you will receive my original ink and watercolour illustration.
You can send me your photos via email with the subject #MyHibsPhotoSketched to email@example.com, or via my facebook page or twitter feed using the hashtag #MyHibsPhotoSketched. Follow the links below, I look forward to seeing your pictures.
Good luck to all the Hibernian players and supporters in this weekends Scottish Cup Final against Celtic at Hampden Park.
One of Edinburgh’s two premier league football sides, Hibernian FC’s home stadium is Easter Road, which I have drawn here ink and watercolour as a good luck sketch.
If they win there will be an open top bus journey through the city to celebrate and show the cup. The match kicks off at 3pm on Sunday and is live on BBC Scotland, coverage begins just after 1pm.
C’mon the Hibs!

So no ‘Sunshine on Leith’ today, but an almost comic strip look at Hibernian’s football ground, Easter Road, between the terraced housing on Albion Place. I thought I had gone too far with the colour, and maybe I have but I like the effect now.
Having lived in both Pilrig Street (in Leith) and Gorgie Road (near Tynecastle) since arriving in the city I count myself as not a die hard fan, more a keen supporter of both Edinburgh football teams, if this is possible 😉
I have been to both stadiums over the years and will have to sketch Hearts soon, to even the balance. Anyone know af a great view of the stadium?
