Misty up high

Our cat Misty loves to be up high looking down on us.

Mocha the tortoise shell cat who died a couple of years ago would often jump up onto the top of any open door, happily sitting on the narrow ledge until we forgot she was there. Visitors would walk in and shut the door getting a fright as a cat would suddenly land on their shoulder.

Our new cat sisters Misty and Whiskers have been with us for over a year now and their characters are very different. Whiskers is an anxious cat who likes a cuddle and plenty of attention where as Misty here is always up to mischief, knocking ornaments off ledges and climbing high to keep an eye on us.

I just love the perspectives in this one and seeing her there balancing on the bannister is lovely.
