Castle homecoming

Whenever I return from a trip south this view welcomes me back home

My favourite view after passing through Morningside and round to Bruntsfield and then there she is, Edinburgh Castle in the distance through layers of terraced city streets leading me home.

Had to stop and sketch this view the other day, a bit nippy for drawing outside so I sat in the sketcher mobile and penned this quick sketch of the gorgeous scene before me. Look out for it when heading back into town.
