Bold lines at the Botanics
An ink view beneath a mighty Redwood in the John Muir Grove
Today I made a visit to the Royal Botanic Gardens in Edinburgh see the trees which had sadly fallen during the recent Storm Eowyn which blew winds over 80mph through the north Edinburgh gardens.
It was upsetting to see the destruction and many trees were broken in two or ripped right out of the ground. But I was glad to see the redwoods of the John Muir Grove were still standing together.
