WhereArtI Edinburgh?

Can you tell me where I have sketched?

This is a corner of a street I pass through most days on the way into town, and there is also one of my stockists nearby.

If you can name the location leave your answer in the comment box below. Your comment will not show up until I reveal the answer tomorrow.

I will pick a random winner from all correct entries on Tuesday morning, and they will go on to the ‘Winners wall’ for the month. At the end of the month one of those on the wall will be picked to receive a prize.

The prize for September is a Shore tea towel. 100% cotton and featuring my sketch of the iconic street, this will look great in your kitchen or make a great gift for any Leith lover!

Your comment will not show up until the winner is announced. Keep an eye on my facebook and twitter feeds for clues if they are needed later today, and I will pick a winner for the Winners Wall tomorrow afternoon.

I hope you join us to play along and keep looking up and noticing the beauty in the everyday, you never know where I will be sketching next!

If you would like to buy one of my Edinburgh tea towels you can find them in my Etsy shop.

  1. Hi Donna E,
Congratulations, you have won this weeks WhereArtI quiz with your correct answer of the corner of Broughton Street and Barony Street.
You will go into the monthly draw for a prize and I will be in touch asap if you have won. Thanks for playing WhereArtI with Edinburgh Sketcher.

    All the best, Mark, ES

  2. It’s a lovely atmospheric sketch of the corner of Broughton Street and Barony Street.

The Broughton Deli is in bright red. The artist might even have had the pleasure of sitting in the Olive Branch to draw it!
