Morning sketchers. Yesterday I had a lovely day sampling food and drink at the weekend long Foodies Festival. Here are a few sketches from the glorious sunny August day in Inverleith Park. No mud this year, see last years sketch HERE.
Lovely forties style singing welcomed us into the arena, thanks to The Blitz Sisters, who can currently be seen at The Three Sisters pub in the Cowgate, Edinburgh.
The smell of cooking food was intoxicating especially these smoking fish, and walking round trying all the different tastes on offer was a treat. Being able to enjoy said food and a tipple in the strong sunshine was a definite bonus and well appreciated after our summer!
