I left the buildings of Edinburgh alone this week and sketched a few delicious looking plates of food instead.
This one I saw in one of the weekend newspaper magazines, a colourful fish soup in a lovely Mediterranean bowl. Think I might do more of these, they would look great in print next to the recipes. What do you think?
I visited Loudons today for lunch with the family, I had some yummy gluten free mushroom soup. My wife had a lovely looking eggs benedict with gammon, I’ll be back for that myself. And the twins shared a vegetable pizza slice with salad. The coffee and cake were the highlights, GF again but delicious and worth the visit alone.
My only critisism is that it would of bean nice to of had some gluten free bread to go with my gluten free soup, or some rice cakes, oatcakes etc. Definitely worth the visit though, I’ll be back again soon I hope.
Oh and the deer on our table belong to my daughter.
