A gorgeous day in Edinburgh, sitting in the sunshine this was my view through Parliament gardens towards Dynamic Earth. The strange objects in the foreground are bicycle posts, from a certain angle the form the shape of a bike. Not this angle, obviously 🙂
Some early morning marker-pen sketches of my beautiful children sleeping on my knee.
Having just been fed, they are milk drunk, sleeping like wee angels.
Good luck to St John’s Choir @stjohnschoir tonight, Good Friday 7.30pm, Handel’s Messiah Part Two.
Here’s a sketch of the exterior on the corner of Princes street and Lothian road.
I have yet to step inside but hear it is stunning and well worth visiting for the architecture alone.
Cockburn Street has always been a favourite of mine, bright and colourful shops line the curved street from The Royal Mile down to the train station.
‘Toddle-in’ looks to be an olde worlde sweetie shop, and next door a lovely shop called ‘Cutie House’, full of original gift ideas.
