WhereArtI Edinburgh?

Monday 12th October

Can you tell me where I have sketched?

A very pretty dead end, or is it?

Leave your answer in the comment box below.

Your comment will not show up until I reveal the answer. Closing time for entering is midnight tonight and I will pick a random winner from all correct entries by this time tomorrow.

This week’s prize is a screen printed tote bag featuring my Edinburgh Castle illustration.

Keep an eye on my facebook and twitter feeds for clues if they are needed later today, and remember you can also see my weekly competition in the printed version of the Edinburgh Evening News each Monday.

Keep looking up and noticing the beauty in the everyday, you never know where I will be sketching next!

My Edinburgh sketched merchandise is available on my Etsy shop and I am now available for Christmas commissions. Email contact@www.edinburghsketcher.com for more details.

This is the end of Milton Street, which leads through a narrow passage into Holyrood Park. Well done to T Brown, who was randomly picked and wins this week’s prize of a ES castle tote bag.
More next Monday, have a great week 🙂

Thanks for all the comments, I used to work near here and the shortcut through the end of this street was a daily sight.

I have made this sketch available as a signed and mounted print, here:

  2. It’s Milton St, with the little cut-through at the end (known as the Narnia Gate in our household!) taking you into Holyrood Park. Lovely illustration ❤️

  3. Milton Street!
My good friend used to live there, so we would visit a couple of times a week for our young children to play in Holyrood Park together.
