Can you tell me where I have sketched?
A day late, for the first time in years, apologies but I am blaming my holiday head. If you know this weeks location leave your answer in the comment box below.
I will pick a random winner from all correct entries on Tuesday morning, and they will go on to the ‘Winners wall’ for the month. At the end of the month one of those on the wall will be picked to receive a prize.
The prize for August is a set of my Edinburgh Victorian Cycle postcards which feature my colourful illustrations from around the city.
Your comment will not show up until the winner is announced. Keep an eye on my facebook and twitter feeds for clues if they are needed later today, and I will pick a winner for the Winners Wall tomorrow afternoon.
I hope you join us to play along and keep looking up and noticing the beauty in the everyday, you never know where I will be sketching next!
If you would like to buy a set of my postcards for £5 plus postage then you can order one here from my Etsy shop.
#WhereArtI Answer – August 5th: This building is now home to The Woolen Mill, and on the day I sketched a very good busker too. The building sits at the top of Cockburn Street on the Royal Mile.
Lynn Kilpatrick goes into the draw for August.

All the best, Mark, ES
Hi David. It is a beautiful building, I could well imagine it being a bank once. Not any more.
It’s the Woollen Mill at the top of Coburn Street.
The woolen mill on the corner of Cockburn and High Streets.
Woolen mill, corner of High St and Cockburn St.

That would be the old bank on the corner of Cockburn Street and the High Street opposite the Tron Kirk. The bank was coonvenient for money to spend in Grants next door or PTs on the other side of the Bridges. I just cannot remember which bank group owned it. Does the Night Safe still work?
