This weekend I will be sketching in Stirling at the fabulous Engine Shed, Scotland’s dedicated building conservation centre.
Run by Historic Environment Scotland, the Engine Shed is set up to encourage understanding of traditional building materials and skills among the public and professionals and raise standards in conservation for traditional buildings.
It is a great place to visit for all ages and on Saturday you will be able to join me speed sketching inside and outside and take time to appreciate the details of a structure and also learn some speed sketching skills. We will be using watercolours and ink to capture our surroundings and the class is free, although places are very limited to ensure I can help everyone individually.
