WhereArtI : 14 March 2016 : Edinburgh

ES_WAI140316Morning Edinburgh, can you tell me where I am sketching this week?

The WhereArtI competition goes live every Monday morning at 8am, I sketch a location in Edinburgh, you tell me where I am. On the first Monday of each month however, the sketch could be anywhere in Scotland.

There are points on offer for the first three correct answers, with a prize to who tops the leader board at the end of the year. Good luck every one! Keep an eye on the facebook and twitter throughout the day for clues if they are needed. Answer to come before Tuesday morning.   If you would like to sponsor the quiz or feature in the quiz, then get in touch at contact@www.edinburghsketcher.com

  1. WhereArtI 140316 update:

Hi everyone, this sketch is the Portobello Kilns, on Bridge Street. The kilns, built in 1906 and 1909, are the last two surviving pottery kilns in Scotland and the sole remains of the A W Buchan & Co Thistle Pottery which closed in 1972. Have a look for them next time you are on the promenade.

    This week’s top three are @MarkPJSmith @0apropos and @CityCycling

    More next Monday!
