WhereArtI 072

A superb prize on offer in this week’s WhereArtI: An hours holistic massage at M_Massage. All you have to do to win is be the first to tell me the name of this Edinburgh building I’ve sketched…

The rules are simple, each week I sketch a mystery location within Edinburgh, all you have to do is tell me where I am. Can you place the sketch?

You can answer below, on facebook or twitter and also to keep an eye on the ES facebook page and twitter for clues throughout the day. This week the sketch is just for fun, but if you would like to donate a prize for the quiz get in touch HERE.

Answers to come by this time tomorrow, and although for now the quiz is just for fun the first three correct answers will get a mention plus a link from my site for anyone who makes it onto the WhereArtI leader board.

  1. Well done all who told me today’s WhereArtI sketch is the bus depot in Annandale Street, Edinburgh. A beautiful red brick building originally built as an exhibition hall in the 1920’s and now the central home of Lothian Buses.

Thanks to http://www.edinphoto.org.uk for these photos of before and after the huge bus-shaped doors were installed: http://www.edinphoto.org.uk/0_B/0_buildings_-_central_garage_annandale_street_1920s.htm

This week’s top three are: @0apropos, who wins the massage, plus 3pts on the leaderboard, 2pts to K Jack on facebook, only 2 mins behind! Third place and the final point goes to @lemon_squeezy

Thanks to Mariota from M_Massage for donating this weeks prize and thanks to all who played along, more next Monday at 8am. Now, who wants to donate a prize for next week?!
