Thanks for all the comments, yes of course it is Princes Mall or the Waverley Shopping Centre above Waverley train Station in the heart of Edinburgh. And the words on the sign? simply Princes Mall
Opening as Waverley Market back in 1984 (sorry Ricky!) the centre underwent a major refurbishment in 2012 and is now home to many shops and places to eat.
