Monday morning and another WhereArtI quiz – can you name this wee shop standing in the centre of town? I’ve past it a hundred times although shamefully I don’t think I ever really noticed it until yesterday. Have you?

The shop is on George Street, a couple of doors down from the Assembly Rooms. It is an opticians, Trotters Ophthalmic Opticians to be exact, but I’d accept ‘Trotters’. Which is exactly what these three early birds told me this morning:

Also @0apropos pointed out that on Google Street View the shop appears to have a sphere on either side of the top ledge, but they weren’t there at the weekend when I sketched the shop. How very strange…
