WhereArtI #0028

Morning puzzle pals, here is another WhereArtI to test your visual knowledge of this beautiful city. Do you recognise this large sculptured artwork which adorns one of Edinburgh’s buildings? I know they may look Spanish or even Australian, but in fact they can be found very close to Edinburgh’s city centre. Don’t forget there are points to be had on the WhereArtI leaderboard so don’t hesitate!

Remember to include the hashtag #wherearti with your answers either below, on facebook or twitter and remember to keep an eye on the ES facebook page for clues, if needed throughout the day. Answers to come by this time tomorrow, and although for now the quiz is just for fun the first three correct answers will get a mention plus a link from my site from the WhereArtI Leaderboard, HERE

For the time being WhereArtI? is just for fun, if you would like to appear in the sketch, sponsor the quiz or supply a prize then please get in touch.

  1. Well done Nikster and all those who correctly said this wall is part of Moray House, College of Education, Charteris Land. I’ll also take the street name, which is St John’s Street which links Holyrood Road and the Royal Mile, albeit via a pedestrian only alleyway.

Congrats to those guessing via Scotsman.com too, the EdinburghSketcher quiz will feature on the Scotsman website, and facebook page every first Monday of the month. But remember WhereArtI runs every Monday at 8am on EdinburghSketcher.com

Top marks and 3 points on the leaderboard go to Movern (@m0rven), 2nd and 2pts go to EdinWorld Heritage (@EdinburghWH) and the last point went to regular WhereArtI’er the Laughing Garreteer ‏(@garreteer).

See you next week for more quiz scribbles 🙂
