Standing

You take it for granted but for my two 16 month old twins it’s still a big achievement to be standing up, and one that James in particular quite rightly gives himself a clap for every time.

He is playing with some bricks at a chair in Hemma, a new Swedish bar and restaurant come coffee shop stroke gallery near the Parliament.

The place is quite new (it used to be The Tun) and it was my first visit, the food is very fresh and tasty, we had a smorgasbord of cheeses, mackerel, meatballs and salad together with warm crusty bread. Although I couldn’t have the bread being coeliac and my one gripe would be there was no gluten free alternative.

Very child friendly there are plenty of highchairs and in the corner a trunk of toys, crayons and books for toddlers to play with.

We’ll definitely be back, the atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed, and the coffee nice and strong. Click HERE to see their website.

The sketch is just pencil in a notepad. Keeping it simple.
