The Chinese Lanterns of Terracotta Warriors have descended on Edinburgh University to mark Chinese New Year.
The 90 larger than life lanterns, inspired by the ancient Terracotta Warriors of Xian, will populate the Old College quadrangle from 29 January to 7 February to celebrate Chinese New Year.
I visited around lunch time but I am told to see the full effect you should go between 4 and 9pm, as they will be illuminated. The multicoloured figures must look stunning in the dark.
Watch the video below via Scotsman.com of the warriors being installed.
