The WhereArtI weekly sketch quiz

WAI300913Morning, and what a beautiful weekend we had in the capital. I hope you had one too, wherever you were. I was sketching this little watercolour, but can you tell me where exactly I was…?

No prize this week, but we aren’t just playing for fun, there are valuable points up for grabs for the first three to correctly name the building I have sketched.

The rules are simple, each week I sketch a mystery location within Edinburgh, all you have to do is tell me where I am. Can you place the sketch?

You can answer below, on facebook or twitter and also to keep an eye on the ES facebook page and twitter for clues throughout the day. Answers to come by this time tomorrow, and if you would like to donate a prize for the quiz get in touch HERE.

  1. Well done people, it is indeed the Queen Mother’s Pavilion, in the Queen Mother Memorial Garden at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.

I had a lovely walk with the Sketcher family there on Sunday, the colours are amazing, especially on a sunny day.

    Top three this week are… 1st: Loragene Calder (fb) 2nd: @aimzobj and 3rd: @0apropos

And don’t forget next week is my first Scotland wide WhereArtI so tune in at 8am on Monday and see if you recognise the sketch. And if you would like to donate a prize, in exchange for lots of mentions and thanks 🙂 then drop me a line.
